Project Objective
Our customer is a leading manufacturer of custom components and tooling for the plastic injection mold industry. They occupy a 24,000 square feet facility located in the Chicago suburbs. The facility was in need of additional space within the plant for a lunch/break room area and an office to accommodate four workstations. Also, one side of the building would be used as an inspection area for finished products and testing.
Project Scope
DAK Equipment & Engineering Co. proposed a single story Starrco modular building with full width 6' tall windows, electric and lighting. The full-length windows were used in the break area to provide an open feeling to the space with an interior wall to separate the two areas. The walls and framework shipped pre-finished allowing for a quick installation without any disruption to the surrounding workspace. The installation was completed within one week.
