Shelving comes in seemingly infinite varieties and styles. From basic industrial steel shelving units and particle board bulk units, to complex configurations with modular drawers and bin dividers, DAK Equipment, along with Republic Storage Systems, can match the correct product to your application. Republic Storage Systems's industrial steel clip shelving provides storage solutions for everything from general office storage to integrated warehouse applications. By starting with the basic components, uprights, shelves, and clips, and adding any number of accessories, you can create a customized storage system for your specific needs.
Designed for both simplicity and flexibility, Republic's clip shelving consists of a few engineered components that are used to build a variety of shelving systems. Heavy gauge steel clips engage square holes on upright posts, forming a sturdy support for the shelf. Clips are easily installed and removed, allowing for rapid reconfiguring of the shelving unit. Available in one piece lengths up to 16' 1", upright posts are roll formed from 14 ga. steel for maximum strength and feature 1-1/2" vertical shelf adjustment. Posts are available in three styles: angle posts, beaded posts, and heavy duty posts. Angle posts are the most economical design, while beaded posts offer clear shelf access. For addition capacity, choose heavy duty posts with a rectangular tube design. Heavy duty posts provide up to four times the capacities of angle and beaded posts. Post splices are used for posts in high-rise and multi-level shelving applications. Angle and beaded post footplates of 13 ga. steel and heavy duty footplates of 10 ga. steel anchor posts to floors and foundations. Republic Storage Systems's open flange shelves are available in heavy and medium duty construction and are strengthened by 3/8" return flanges. The shelves are punched for attaching shelf dividers on 2" centers; shelf faces are punched to accommodate label holders. Shelves may be used without reinforcing for standard capacities or with 11 ga. steel reinforcing bars or angles for additional capacity. Closed shelving components, such as 24 ga. cold rolled steel back and side sheets, are ideal for operations in which stored materials require additional protection or containment, while open shelving units are ideal for economical, general purpose storage. Both options are available, with industrial clip shelving accessories, through Republic Storage Systems and DAK Equipment.
Two and three level shelving systems often have some elements of pick modules and mezzanines in them. In these types of systems, your operation's storage requirement is the primary driving factor, with productivity the secondary factor.

Wide span shelving is designed for the hand-loading of medium to heavy loads and is ideal for storing small quantities of a large variety of product types.
